Application Components: Expression of interest form and supporting proposal
Application Platform: Expression of Interest submitted to Designated Funds inbox
Funding Structure: National Highways funds up to 50% of capital project costs
important notes: Projects must be completed by 31 March 2026; funding supports construction, refurbishment, security equipment, and design costs; projects must demonstrate benefits to HGV drivers
Ineligible Costs: Staffing costs, running costs, general business overheads, labour costs, and retrospective funding
Key Organisational Requirements: Applicants must operate HGV driver facilities near the strategic road network and provide at least 50% match funding
Match Funding Requirement: Minimum 50% contribution from applicant
Objectives: Improve driver welfare facilities, enhance site security, and increase HGV parking capacity
