Feasibility studies under RDI Streamlined Subsidy Scheme: up to 70% for micro or small organisations; up to 60% for medium organisations; up to 50% for large organisations. Research organisations undertaking non-economic activity can receive up to 100% of eligible costs. Je-S registered institutions receive 80% FEC.

Must be a feasibility study. Must address cross cutting challenges applicable to at least two high growth sectors or at least two advanced manufacturing frontier industries. Must involve at least one end user in the project. Must demonstrate route to scale in the UK. Must assess commercial, technical and operational viability.

Eligible expenses

  • Eligible project costs only. Subcontractor costs limited to 30% of total eligible project costs. Academic institutions must upload Je-S form where applicable.

  • Costs not eligible under Innovate UK IFS competition guidance.
